Enchanted Expressions Grand Opening ~ June 16, 2011

I was honored to create a cake for my dear friends who have opened an event planning company in our town. The cake was a single tier, fondant covered white almond sour cream cake. I added their signature compant logo and crystal chandelier to the top. It matched perfectly with the modern design and decor of their trendy new shop. Best wishes Kasey and Chris! This cake is a double layer vanilla with vanilla buttercream filling.

The cross is made from gumpaste and accented in edible sugar pearls.

Since the celebration was for a boy and a girl, we went with a few flowers for a feminine touch, but stayed in the blue family to give it more of a boy feel.

and chocolate buttercream covered with

homemade marshmellow fondant.

Anemone flower is made from gumpaste.
